1. Before the turbine flowmeter is put into operation, the instrument coefficient must be set first, and a careful inspection should be conducted to ensure that the wiring of the flowmeter is correct and that the grounding is good before powering on.

2. During use, the measured medium should be kept clean and free of fibers, particles, and other impurities. Keep the filter unobstructed. If the filter is blocked by impurities, it can be judged by the increase in the pressure gauge readings at its inlet and outlet. If blockage occurs, it should be eliminated in a timely manner; otherwise, it will severely reduce the flow.

3. The maintenance cycle of the turbine flowmeter is generally six months. Regularly clean, inspect, and recalibrate the flowmeter. For flowmeters with lubrication oil or cleaning liquid injection ports, lubricating oil or cleaning liquid should be injected regularly according to the instructions to maintain the good operation of the impeller. When repairing and cleaning, please be careful not to damage the parts inside the measuring chamber, especially the impeller. Pay attention to the positional relationship between the guide components and the impeller during assembly.

7. Before installing the turbine flowmeter, blow with the mouth or manually rotate the impeller quickly to observe if there is any display. If there is a display, then install the sensor; if there is no display, check the relevant parts to eliminate faults.

8. For large flow trade settlement measurement, to ensureturbine flowmeteraccuracy, the flowmeter must be regularly calibrated. On-site, online calibration equipment should be provided, or a portable calibration device should be equipped. Although the initial investment is relatively large, it is worthwhile considering long-term economic benefits.
