Pressure sensor sales manufacturers introduce some common sensor principles and applications

Pressure sensors typically consist of a signal processing unit and a pressure-sensitive element, converting pressure signals into usable output electrical signals according to certain rules, and are devices or equipment capable of sensing pressure signals. Pressure sensor sales manufacturer According to the different types of test pressure, pressure sensors can be divided into differential pressure sensors, gauge pressure sensors, and absolute pressure sensors.

Pressure sensors are widely used in various industrial automatic control environments and are a commonly used type of sensor in industrial practice, involving multiple industries such as smart buildings, production automation, railway transportation, water conservancy and hydropower, military, aerospace, petrochemical, oil wells, shipping, electricity, machine tools, and pipelines. Pressure sensor sales manufacturer A brief introduction to some common sensor principles and applications.

1. Piezoresistive pressure sensor. The resistance strain gauge is one of the main components of the piezoresistive strain sensor, and the strain resistance changes with mechanical deformation when adsorbed on the substrate. This is the working principle of metal strain gauges, commonly known as the resistance strain effect.

2. Ceramic pressure sensor. The pressure directly acts on the front of the ceramic diaphragm, causing slight deformation based on the piezoresistive effect. Thick film resistors are printed on the back of the ceramic diaphragm, forming a Wheatstone bridge. Due to the piezoresistive effect of the pressure-sensitive resistor, the bridge generates a highly linear voltage signal proportional to the pressure and excitation voltage. It can be used in conjunction with strain sensors, with standard signals calibrated to 2.0/3.0/3.3mV/V based on different pressure ranges.

3. Diffused silicon pressure sensor. Utilizing the principle of the piezoresistive effect, the pressure of the measured medium directly acts on the diaphragm of the sensor, causing a micro-displacement proportional to the medium pressure, which changes the resistance value of the sensor. Electronic circuits are used to detect this change and convert and output a standard measurement signal corresponding to that pressure.

4. Using sapphire as a semiconductor sensitive element, based on the working principle of strain resistance, it has unparalleled measurement characteristics. Therefore, semiconductor sensitive elements made of silicon-sapphire have good working characteristics even at high temperatures and are insensitive to temperature changes.

5. Piezoelectric pressure sensor. Piezoelectric sensors cannot be used for static measurements because the charge can only be retained when the circuit has infinite input impedance, which determines that piezoelectric sensors can only measure dynamic stress.

Pressure sensors are widely used in various industrial automatic control environments and are commonly used sensors in China's industrial practice, involving multiple industries such as production automation, smart buildings, water conservancy and hydropower, railway transportation, aerospace, military industry, petrochemicals, oil wells, electricity, shipping, machine tools, and pipelines. Therefore, pressure sensor sales manufacturers believe it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of them.
