The manufacturer of pressure sensors introduces the basic principles of multi-sensor information fusion technology, which is similar to the process of the human brain comprehensively processing information. It performs multi-level and multi-space information complementarity and optimization combination processing on various sensors, resulting in a consistent interpretation of the observed environment. In this process, it is necessary to make full use of multi-source data for reasonable control and use, and the goal of information fusion is to obtain more useful information based on the separated observation information obtained from each sensor through multi-level and multi-faceted information combination. This not only utilizes the collaborative operation of multiple sensors but also comprehensively processes data from other information sources to enhance the intelligence of the entire sensor system.

Manufacturer of pressure sensors. The introduction of pressure sensors is that they are widely used sensors. Traditional pressure sensors are mainly mechanical devices, where the deformation of elastic elements is used to indicate pressure. However, this structure is large in size and heavy, and cannot provide electrical output. With the development of semiconductor technology, semiconductor pressure sensors have also emerged. Their characteristics include small size, light weight, high precision, and good temperature characteristics. Especially with the development of MEMS technology, semiconductor sensors are moving towards miniaturization, low power consumption, and high reliability.

The manufacturer of pressure sensors introduces that the diffusion silicon pressure transmitter is made by sealing a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor in a stainless steel housing. It can convert the detected liquid or gas pressure into a standard electrical signal for external output. The DATA-52 series diffusion silicon pressure transmitters are widely used in field measurement and control of industrial processes such as water supply/drainage, thermal power, petroleum, chemical industry, and metallurgy. Semiconductor piezoresistive diffusion pressure sensors are used to form semiconductor deformation pressure on the surface of the sheet, and the piezoelectric resistance effect is generated by external force (pressure) causing the sheet to deform, thus converting the impedance change into an electrical signal. Capacitive pressure sensors are used to form capacitance by the fixed electrode of glass and the movable electrode of silicon, and convert the change in electrostatic capacitance caused by the deformation of the movable electrode due to external force (pressure) into an electrical signal. (The working principle of E8Y is the electrostatic capacitance mode, while other models use the semiconductor mode.)

The wiring of sensors has always been one of the common issues in the procurement process. Many customers do not know how to connect the sensors. In fact, the wiring methods of various sensors are basically the same. Pressure sensors usually have two-wire, three-wire, and four-wire systems, and some have five-wire systems.

The two-wire system of pressure sensors is relatively simple. Usually, customers know how to connect the wires. One wire connects to the positive terminal of the power supply, and the other wire is the signal wire, which connects to the negative terminal of the power supply through the instrument. This is simple. The three-wire system of pressure sensors is based on the two-wire system, adding a wire that directly connects to the negative terminal of the power supply, which is slightly more complicated than the two-wire system. A four-wire pressure sensor must have two power input terminals, and the other two are signal output terminals. Most four-wire systems are voltage output, rather than 4~20mA output. The 4~20mA system is called a pressure transmitter, and most are two-wire systems. Some pressure sensors have no amplification in their signal output, with full-scale output only a few tens of millivolts, while some pressure sensors have internal amplification circuits, with full-scale output of 0~2V. As for how to connect to the display instrument, it depends on the range of the instrument. If there is a gear corresponding to the output signal, it can be measured directly. Otherwise, a signal conditioning circuit should be added. The difference between five-wire and four-wire pressure sensors is minimal, and there are very few five-wire pressure sensors on the market.
